Dear doormouse73,

I'm glad you decided to join us.  I think you'll find it a great environment to really test your ideas against others.  We have quite different points of view, actually, and we are at various points in our spiritual journeys, but we have in common the desire for what is good for each other.  And we listen to each other, with respect, and not just to reply but to understand.  Sometimes the best answers are actually questions to open it up to new grounds of inspiration.

Sorry I'm getting preachy.  Anyway, we're glad to have you.  Feel free to browse or post anywhere the software will let you.  John wrote some pretty cool rules once, but basically we just act nice to each other and we're good.

Welcome Paul. I look forward to hearing from you. I'm not going to let my wife read your stuff though. She's a sucker for an English accent and I don't need the competition.  Cheesy

Hey, welcome!  I find myself a bit of an Anglophile, I stereotype the British as being so much more world-conscious and less apathetic than Americans.

Hey, I didn't realize that. I also love fishing!

Oh...wait...I'm thinking that's not the direction you were going here.   Embarrassed

thanks for the heads up OneSheep.

im just starting to unwind on here now.so ill be joining in with a few topics.i dont think the Americans are a little apathetic, you have a bigger population,so you might have more than us in Britain, but for the per rata, i think we would be the same really.but i must admit,we are a worldly sort of people here in Britain.

all the very best to you. Smiley

Well, ok if you insist....

First man: That's a beautiful rod you've got there.

Second man: Thanks. Actually I got it for my wife.

First man: Nice trade!

Hmmm, I just realized that I've already hijacked Paul's thread here.

Where is the Officer when you need her?!!

I looked, without success, for an emoticon with a face buried in his hands.  Thanks for the joke.
