We haven't had anyone predict the future in several years so I think I will do some predicting.

Obama and the Democrats are leading this country to financial ruin. Problems CAN NOT be solved by throwing more money at them.

As far as his excuse that he inherited it from Bush, hogwash. Bush may have made the snowball at the top of the hill and pushed it over, but Obama didn't have to make another or two and throw them off the hill as well.

Therefore, my prediction is that if the government continues to throw money at the economy hoping to fix it, in the long run things will be worse --- much worse.

And our kids and grandkids get to pay for it.

P.S. How about a less policital one while I'm at it.
We will have snow by Christmas.

Well, that one is probably pretty safe, depending on one's definition of "we". I'd guess there is a much lower probability for those where I am than for those where you are, though there already was some right before Halloween up in the higher elevations here.

I predict that by 2015, new cars will be required to have a communication system like what OnStar is, that will be sold as safety issues -- the better Big Brother can take care of us.  In reality, it is so that They can track us.  At first they will keep the information private, but that won't last long.  Pretty soon that information will be used for many things such as lawsuits, insurance rates, automatic monthly bill for fines automatically imposed.  Also this somehow has to do with terrorism.

In every city there will be cameras watching the crowd.  At first it will be at intersections, but then it will be expanded to cover all public property.  For a while, private property will exempt from cameras, except on a voluntary basis.  After all, why not get some photos of the burglar, right?  Powerful face recognition software will be used to constantly monitor who goes by and when.  Wanted criminals could be tracked as soon as a camera sees them.  It wouldn't matter whether the person shaves the beard or not, between the first photo as in a bank, and the next photo in a faraway city.

I'm kind of rushed now so I won't try to condense that.
